Our petition has recently got us a foot in the door as we have now been invited to speak to the Health Committee on 24 May. It represents a milestone for our cause as it is the first time the Parliament open their doors to citizens to be listened to in regards real big issues citizens are facing when struggling with mental Health and dealing with the public services.
We believe this is a critical step forward in making a difference in our community.
We want New Zealand to know we have been given the opportunity to be listened to, as we bring with us the voices of many affected by suicide in our beautiful country.
