He wades into the show at 12:15 and gives us his view on the prevalence of press release journalism and who’s out there is really getting their hands dirty.

1:15 Alan Drain

Auckland based fashion turned art photographer has a new exhibition on at the Steamship Building on the waterfront. His work is a collection of portraits including one of bFM’s own Camilla Martian. Inspired by 1960s European cinema, Drain’s work is minimalist with black and white landscapes, relaxed models and natural lighting. Wallace asks him about how he seems to blend the influences cinema and kiwiana into his work.

At 1:15 Green Dean waltzes into the studio and does the environmental watootsie. Wallace gets served.
