Goff Tables His Evidence Of Dr Smith's US Friendly Foreign Policy

[1] Today during the final question time for this Parliament Labour Whip Jill Pettis asked Mr Goff a question related to Dr Smith's United States sojourn last year. Mr Goff then read out, under parliamentary privilege, the guts of a conversation Dr Smith had supposedly had with United States officials last year. Mr Goff later tabled excerpts of a diplomatic cable that alleged Dr Smith had been inquiring about United States policy assistance. See... Govt's Coalition And Support Partners Barred From TV3's Political Debate

    - Jim Anderton: "It is an irony that the foreign-owned broadcaster, TV3, has decided to knock the Progressives out of its pre-election party leaders' debate when the Progressive Party has by far the strongest track record of all Third Parties for getting its policies adopted, Jim Anderton said today. "I've been told that the foreign-owned TV3 will interfere in our country's democratic process by silencing the voice of the very third party that has actually delivered under the MMP system over the past six years." Brownlee Urges PM To Produce Motorcade Case Notes

    - National Party Deputy Leader Gerry Brownlee says Helen Clark must release her statement of evidence in the speeding motorcade case. "This looks a lot like Paintergate. The PM refuses to be interviewed or answer questions, then gets her lawyers to draw up a statement. "Does this statement support Helen Clark's public comments? "Was Helen Clark cautioned by Police when she signed that statement to Police? "If she was cautioned and told her rights under the Bill of Rights, then this means she was considered a suspect by Police at that time. See…Helen Clark must release statement of evidence [1]
