National Slams TVNZ For 'Hounding' Dr Brash During The Election

[1] National's Georgina Te Heu Heu has accused TVNZ of having abandoned political neutrality during the election campaign. Ms Te Heu Heu's comments followed TVNZ’s chief executive, Ian Fraser’s resignation. Mr Fraser stated in his resignation letter that he had lost confidence in the Board of TVNZ. See... - As part of my general getting up to speed with the theft of a national icon, I decided to look into the story of the real Pania of the Reef. Typically there are variations, but here's the version I like best. It's an interesting tale, a hot woman who lives in the sea falls in love with Karitoki, a young rangatira. They get hitched and move in together, but the catch is - and there's always a catch with this sort of thing - she has to go back to the sea during the day, or she'll die. John Roughan Discusses The Pacific Island Forum Outcomes

    - Last week's Pacific Islands Forum meeting in PNG focused on many different areas of life dear to national leaders and their people across the Pacific. Certainly one hot topic was the idea of allowing unskilled island workers into the region's two biggest economies, Australia and New Zealand. However, Australia's PM, John Howard, argued against the idea while New Zealand's PM, Helen Clark, was much more open to it. See...
