It is undeniable that human beings are free right from the very birth. The real institutionalization of democratic development, invariably implies that national and international laws are evolved through the rational process of democratization. These have to be appropriately applied in favor of their freedom of existence, inner desire, hopes, aspirations and inherent right of independence.
In any free world, one has the legitimate right to live in equality, equitably pursue one's profession, express one's political concepts through freedom of speech and expression, bearing in mind not to rupture the democratic discipline, adopt one's principle, exercise one's fundamental social rights and right to own or dispose of one's wealth and properties, follow one's culture, traditions, legacy, establish home and family relationships. But the vital question is of having sound check and balance system, functioning effectively. In a Opinion expressed, I.K. Pradhan states recently.
Pradhan further argued " No political front, should have the over advantage of unduly exploiting these freedoms, to the extent of defeating the very purpose, with which any democratic system ought to function, in catering to the expectation of our developing society. It must be befitting to the advancement of social, cultural, economical and political needs of the soil and peace loving popular aspiration. It requires thorough evaluation and must be contributive in strengthening of our national unity, nationalism, solidarity and independence, by ensuring greater mass awareness of the true values of democracy. This is vital on account of the very fact that the democratic liberty and freedom must be utilized in the interest of the nation.
Thus, the entire nation and people are in an extremely critical, more explosive crossroads. People are concerned with more development with economic upliftment and less of derogative politics. Efforts must be exerted for achieving national consensus towards resolving the burning problems, constantly spreading their flames. What the people, the society most want in terms of secured peace, continuation and transformation of developmental efforts into tangible results are most vital concern of today. All sectors will do well to divert their attention and understand this ultimate indisputable reality, as the foremost demand of time in a country infested by instability".
People are really concerned and hoping for peace. These developments could ease tensions and marginalise violence in the world.
People cannot forget how, the violent groups involved in many destructive activities. They give priority to the destruction of physical infrastructures, vandalism of schools and academic institutions, and murders and violence. They are kidnapping innocent children and used them as human shield. The country suffered a big loss. The people are scared and terrified.
Violence and terrorism problem should be solved. People sincerely hopes all political forces and people could work together to resolve the present problems and realize the peace, stability and development.
No nation can develop half free and half chaired. Empowerment of people through their full participation is education, employment and political and social life is vital for every nation. In recent days, both the sides have been blaming one another of delaying the peace process. The people really suffered when the two sides were at war and they were really tired and fed up about the senseless violence, destruction of development infrastructure and the huge sense of insecurity that they had to live under.
Activities of the terrorists have started ringing alarm bells. There have been reports in the media that some intimidation and kidnappings are still being carried out by the terrorists.
Most people must be happy in the world that the security forces are vigilant, so that permanent peace is restored in the country.
The people are also worried that the government and the terrorists may fall into a trap of betrayal who are not making any efforts to cooperate in the peace process.
What every people wants now, is permanent peace and political leaders must be able to understand this desire of the people.
