NEWSFLASH: Democrats Win House Of Representatives - CNN
According to CNN the Democrats have won the House of Representatives. This result is based on early projections from the West Coast where voting has just ended.
The margin of victory is not yet estimated but CNN does now expect them to pick up 17 seats, 2 more than the 15 required to take over the house. The victory means the Democratic Party will control Congress and its committees for the first time in 12 years.
Presuming the projection turns out to be correct Nancy Pelosi from California will be the next Speaker of the House.
