The Wednesday Wire Hosted By Paul Deady

1215 - Douglas Jenkin – Gay Men's Health co-ordinator at the NZ Aids Foundation

Last year saw the second highest number of new HIV cases in NZ since recording began more than 20 years ago. Douglas Jenkin – Gay Men's Health co-ordinator at the NZ Aids Foundation – will join me at 1215 to discuss why we aren't seeming to control the problem, and why it's not just an issue for the gay community.

1230 - Professor Philip Nel – Zimbabwe

1245 - AUSA Pres Lisieli

1300 - Wendy Hinton – MFAT Deputy Director of the UN Human Rights Commonwealth division

But since then, the same accusations of bias and ineffectiveness have been levelled at the Council. I spoke with Wendy Hinton – MFAT Deputy Director of the UN Human Rights Commonwealth division this morning, and asked her if there is any cause for optisim in the Council.
