Dear Colleague,

Since 2004 Narco News has reported on the "House of Death" investigation in Juarez, Mexico, and the ensuing cover-up by ranking officials within the U.S. Justice Department. Bill Conroy today publishes documents and transcripts that show the cover-up involves still more high-ranking US government officials:

Conroy reports:

"In the case of the House of Death mass murder and cover-up, which has been the subject of critical reviews by Narco News over the past three years, the role of the bumbling theater hands in this latest act happens to be played by two top DEA officials - who were charged with helping to clean up the stage in the wake of the mayhem in Juarez, Mexico.

"...A joint DOJ/DEA assessment team (or JAT) was dispatched to El Paso/Juarez in February 2004 to conduct more than 40 interviews of key players in the House of Death case. The report produced by the JAT has since been buried by the U.S. government. Efforts to seek its release through Freedom of Information Act requests have been stonewalled, with DEA even claiming that it is seeking to have portions of the report classified due to 'national security' concerns."

But despite the efforts up above to keep evidence out of public view, more key documents now accompany Conroy's latest report:
