Section 59 - foster care fallout
An article in the New
Zealand Herald yesterday claimed that foster parents are
quitting because of the repeal of Section 59 of the Crimes
Act. Alyssa Carberry, Chairperson of the South Auckland
Caregivers Association, has misgivings about these claims,
even though she was quoted in the article herself.
