12:00 bNews, Weather and Surf

12:20 When is a war not a war?
Visiting academic and International Progress Organisation (IPO) President Dr Hans Koechler, challenges what has become the almost flippant use of the term "war on terror". He discusses this, and also gives his views on whether there really is a "terrorism" threat to the world.

1:00 Doctor, Doctor – I think there's been a mistake
Recently, a man whose wife became pregnant after a failed vasectomy procedure was refused compensation because he chose not to undergo post-op testing. The case brings up interesting medical ethics issues, which tort law expert Stephen Todd will discuss – as well as looking at why this is such a confused body of law in New Zealand.

1:20 The Arts Hole
Ash joins us for a roundup of what's on.

1:40 The Green Desk
Sustainable Simon talks to Grant Hall of the Good Water Company. They are producing New Zealand's first bottled water product where the bottle is made form high starch vegetables as opposed to petrochemical-based plastics. They're also aiming to close the loop with regards to recycling and trying to recycle the bottles in NZ as opposed to exporting them overseas where they sometimes end up being burnt.

Aucklanders can tune in at 95 on the FM dial.
