Storm II
What does the Government do when it wants to
make sure the country is protected from cyber terrorists and
cyber criminals? It gets a bunch of computer nerds together
and asks them to play war games. This particular operation
is called Cyber Storm II, a joint venture with the US, UK,
Australia and Canada. Roly Smoldon from MPA Technologies
will talk Kim through the process.

Water, the essence of life
Kim talks to Strahan
Coleman from World Vision about the work he's been doing
around university campuses this week to raise people's
awareness of how many countries lack access to safe
water.
1:20 The IWC: more than just a
beached whale
The International Whaling Commission
held a special meeting in London last week in the hope that
pro- and anti-whaling countries could put aside their
differences and actually get some work done. The word
'consensus' may be too strong a word for such an
organization, but Conservation Minister Steve Chadwick says
she's optimistic about the meeting's outcome, and will talk
to Kim about it.
1:40 Green
Desk
Simon Miller talks to Carmen Gravatt from
Greenpeace, who is on board the Rainbow Warrior as it powers
its way from Auckland to Gisborne. He'll get the lowdown on
what its like being on tour with the ship.
