AA vs. ARC
The AA is up in arms about the ARC's moves
to implement a fuel tax – this will be gradually
introduced from next winter if today's council vote is
successful. The ARC is accusing the AA of trying to derail
the campaign for rail electrification, as it were. The AA's
transport spokesperson Simon Lambourne will discuss why the
association's is making such a fuss about it now.
