PRIOR, Dr Ian Ambury Miller ONZM – On Tuesday 17 February, aged 85. Dearly loved husband of Elespie Kate Forsyth (1919-2002), brother of Owen and the late Elaine McLaren and Arthur Prior, father of Ione Yockney Prior, Susan Jessie and Bettina Bradbury. Father-in-law of Malcolm Yockney, Kiyohiro Ejima, Jim Horton, John Bradbury and Craig Heron. Grandfather of Mereana Yockney, Anju, Shion and Mirai Ejima, Ben and Jay Horton, Emily and Anna Bradbury and partners Nina, Eunjoo, Jane, Sacha, Craig and Matt. He wairua hautu a Ian - his spirit and legacy live on. Friend to so many; medical doctor and researcher; passionate supporter of the arts and promoter of peace, the environment and political change. Ian is at home at Wade St and friends are welcome. Ian's celebration will be at 2.30 on Monday 23 February at Old St Paul's, Mulgrave Street, Wellington.
