Update: Washington DC Metro Tragedy

The Washington DC Metro tragedy produces more heartbreaking stories. The nine who died all had so much to contribute to their families and to society. One was a Mother of 6 children! Another had 2, and the train driver had one child. One man was a Bible School teacher. A woman was a nurseThe most dramatic deaths included General and Mrs. Ann Wherley. He had a distinguished military career. Among other things, he order jets to be scrambled over Washington, DC, during the 9/11 attacks.
It appears a faulty computer monitor contributed to the accident. The train operator tried to stop, but the emergency brakes did not activate in time. In addition, the 30 year old Metro cars were too weak to protect in a crash at that speed.
