- Scoop Audio (15 Minutes): Audio on demand of Labour Leader Phil Goff's standup with the press gallery following caucus today. Phil Goff began with a statement condemning Finance Minister Bill English's assertion that being a low wage economy makes us competitive with Australia and promising a greater focus on research, development and upskilling the workforce. He then faced extensive questioning from the Press Gallery around the remarks made by Damien O'Connor about union and gay factions within the Labour Party. He said the comments were wrong and that making them showed an absence of discipline on the part of the MP. He said O'Connor was "hot-headed" but not a red neck.
