Independent Youth Gathering Paint for Prisoners

On Monday in Gaza, a group of youths had cleaned and prepared a wall opposite Al Jundy park, to paint a large mural.
I managed to capture the first strokes of the paintbrushes as they began. The mural is now complete.
Mohammad Elnadr, a member of the Independent Youth Gathering, said that the mural is the least that they could offer to the prisoners in Israeli jails.
“We will continue to act until all of the prisoners’ demands are met, the most important of which is ending of administrative detention,” he told me. “We want the Arab League and the International Committee of the Red Cross to keep watching with a merciful eye to make sure the demands are met.”
The deal that was announced later that night did not contain a commitment to end administrative detention, but to ease some of its more blatant abuses.
As Elnadr concluded, all media, local, national and international, must do all they can to raise awareness of the Palestinian cause, and to make sure the prisoners' demands are met.
