Anti-Islamic material is a wake-up call for everyone

Time and again world sees anti-Islamic material produced and published which denigrates the global religion of Islam and deeply heart the sentiments of 1.6 billion Muslims in the World. Yet, no measure has been taken by any international organisation including United Nations to introduce international legislation and punish those who disparage and malign prophets and religions. Ridiculous material abusing Islam and the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) has been produced on the name of art, literature and entertainment yet, on the name of freedom of speech, neither the material banned nor the creator punished in the western world.

In this era of the world, United States with her European allies are ruling the World and history shows that they go beyond the international laws & boundaries if matters are in their interest. No wonder, looking the timing of the release of this anti-Islamic film that has created lots of disturbance, human and economical losses in the Muslim World, this will benefit to the rulers sitting in Washington DC and European Capitals. History also shows that the Western Governments have provided shelters to those criminals of Islamic and third world who have abused Islam, Quran and Prophets of Islam on the name of humanity. Therefore, the Muslims have to understand that Western Powers will never take any action against these sick-minded people because there is no benefit to them. Instead, as these anti-Islamic publications and productions are creating disorder and turmoil in the Islamic States these incidents must be serving the agenda of many in the Western World.

Unfortunately, the dilemma is that governments and heads of most of the Islamic States are the slaves of the West Powers. Despite of the fact that Arab Rulers have billions of dollars investment in United States and the US has interest in Middle East, these Islamic Rulers are incapable of challenge United States to take severe action and make legislation against denigrators of Islam.

So in this situation, what Muslim Umma should do to denounce and daunt these sick-minded people not to attempt again against Islam and Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). In my opinion, the Muslims of the Muslim States have to continuously put pressure to their governments and rulers to show unity among the Muslim States. In this regard, Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) which is composed of 56 members of the Islamic States should be used as a representative and forcing tool for Islamic World to push the world powers to introduce an international law against those denigrators who abuse and insult Prophets and Religions. The punishment for those denigrators must be treated as terrorists and should be punished same as US punished Muslims arrested from Afghanistan on the charges of terrorism and taken them to Guantanamo Bay.

Therefore, it would be thoughtlessness of the Muslim World to aspect any action against makers of this Anti-Islamic film by the United States and European Governments until and unless the Muslims around the world and their governments compel world powers to listen the demands of Muslims against these denigrators of Islam. One example is the recent statement of Mr. Ban Ki-moon the Secretary General of United Nations after the bloody agitations and demonstrations in more than 35 Islamic Countries of the masses. How come, it took several days to Mr. Ban Ki-moon to speak out against this anti-Islam film and its makers since the agitations around world started? The behaviour of the heads of Islamic States is no more different than Western World. Pakistani Prime Minister, Mr. Raja Pervez Ashraf, finally, spoke out against this anti-Islamic film after at least 10 days of agitation by the common people of Pakistan in almost every city and town. Now the announcement of Pakistani Prime to observe a national holiday as a ‘day of expression of love for Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)’ in Pakistan is an appropriate action to show the world that how importance is Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) in Islam and for Muslims. The people of Pakistan not only Muslim but people of every faith should show their solidarity and unity and participate in a peaceful demonstration on the national day being observed on Friday, 20th September 2012.

The Governments and Head of States of other Muslim States should also follow the same action and observe in international day of solidarity and love for Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). There must be demonstration exhibiting the love for Islam and Prophet but in a peaceful manner as Islam negate violence and the teaching of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) denounce violence and brutality.

It is also very important to the Muslims living in non-Muslims Countries that they should not react and demonstrate against anti-Islamic material in a way which is against the law of the State. They should not take law & order in their hand. Islam does not teach to behave against the law of the land. They should demonstrate their feeling and protest in a peaceful and effective manner. They should protest not only taking against the anti-Islamic material but the material against any religion and faith.
