It's not so much a question of which cloud companies Dell
has got into bed with, but which ones aren't on the
list.
At this week's DellWorld 2013 conference the
company announced cloud deals with Microsoft
Windows Azure, Google,
Red
Hat and Dropbox among others. The
Dropbox deal centres on the cloud service provider's new
Dropbox for Business offering.
Dell had early announced
plans with other cloud providers and its own-branded
OpenStack private cloud. Between the list there aren't many
options that aren't mentioned - apart that is from the cloud
juggernaut: Amazon Web Services.
The deal with Red Hat is
particularly close with the two working on a enterprise
version of OpenStack code-named
Havana.
