Dimension Data plans to sell its Express Data distribution
business to Dicker Data, an ASX-listed hardware distributor.
This includes Express Data and the Express Online
operation.
If approved by Dicker Data shareholders,
the deal will be completed by March 31. The parties are not
talking about the price of the deal.
The move comes as
Dimension Data pulls away from the distribution business to
focus on services. Dimension Data says it will now move into
areas such as managed services, IT outsourcing and data
centres.
