Please Share These - Scoop Foundation @PledgeMe Crowd-Funding Facebook Posts (Part 2)

A request from the Scoop Crowd-Funding Team

Dear Scoop Readers, Supporters, Friends, Contributors, Members and Stakeholders,

The viral sharing of posts by individuals private Facebook timelines is now far and away the most effective means of achieving cut-through for important (but ignored by the mainstream) news issues. Entire news businesses are now being built around this development - Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, Shareable, Vox, The Awl, Vice News etc.

Unfortunately survival strategies for news businesses are one of the biggest blind spots that the mainstream media has. Ditto helping other media organisations. News media is as competitive at times as World Cup Rugby and so far Scoop's campaign to provide our fellow news media with a possible solution to at least part of their funding problems has met with very little news interest.

So lets make it more newsworthy! Via Facebook.

The sharing of Facebook posts is the single most effective way that you our supporters to assist Scoop's efforts to #TakeBackTheNews outside of pledging to our campaign and becoming a Scoop Member. (NOTE: For the dedicated social media warriors out there we have set up a Scoop Social Media Champions group which we would love you to join - twitterati are also welcome here.)

For this reason we have compiled below a list of Facebook Posts for you, our supporters, to share with your friends and communities of interest to help us achieve our PledgeMe campaign target of $50,000 by November 17th.

For those among you who tweet but don't Facebook, we will publish some greatest tweets which we would love you to retweet and thereby assist us with shortly.

In the meantime follow @ScoopTrust, @ScoopNZ and @althecat for the latest developments in our twitter-sphere PledgeMe campaign.

Kind Regards

Alastair Thompson
