Death Penalty For Samoan Assassin
A 34 year old Samoan man has been sentenced to death today after pleading guilty to the murder of Public Works Minister Luagalau Levaula Kamu.
Eletise Leafa Vitale, the 34 year old son of former Women’s Affairs Cabinet Minister Leafa Vitale was immediately sentenced to death, however in the past death sentences usually get reduced to life in prison.
His father and another former cabinet minister and MP, Toi Aukuso Cain, have also been charged with the murder but have yet to plead.
The Samoan Head Of State will now decide whether Eletise Vitale will die for the murder.
