Business Roadshow – Business Leaders Positive – Lions Parade – Hewitt Soldiers On

- BUSINESS ROADSHOW: The Government’s business forum could become a roadshow travelling around New Zealand after the proclaimed success of the summit between 11 Cabinet ministers and 97 business people in Auckland yesterday.

- BUSINESS LEADERS POSITIVE: Business leaders attending yesterday’s summit with Cabinet ministers said they felt positive after the meeting, and several called for another round of talks.

- LIONS PARADE: Wellingtonians are being encouraged to go out in force for a welcome home parade, starting at the Parliament end of Lambton Quay at 12.45pm and stopping at Civic Square, for their champion rugby team today.

- HEWITT SOLDIERS ON: Wellington Lions captain Norm Hewitt played 20 minutes of the second half of the NPC final with a broken right arm, keeping the injury quiet because he didn’t want to leave the field.
