ALL BLACKS - Three All Blacks were taken into custody in Australia after a late night altercation in a night club, The three were on tour with New Zealand A. They were released without any charges. The team management say that they were innocent victims. TVNZ says the three players were taken into protective custody a term usually meaning the people were drunk or a nuisance.

POWER OUT - A row over power as a small group of people face a fourth night without power in Central Otago. One woman is unhappy that there appears to be little local knowledge from the North Island based supplier. One winery owner is angry he wasn't warned how long it would take. The power went down after heavy winds followed by heavy snow.

PETER ELLIS - Another bid is underway to free Peter Ellis. His appeal against convictions for molesting children is before the Court of Appeal for a second time. His defence says there was a miscarriage of justice because children's evidence was contaminated, not all evidence was disclosed and the jury was biased amongst other matters.

WATSON CASE - Fourth week began today, heard from more boaties about movements.

MARRIAGE - A top level investigation is underway after inmates at Arohata prison held a mock lesbian wedding ceremony.

SPICE WEDDING - Posh Spice and footballer David Beckham were married in Ireland today in a behind closed door weddings, they have sold rights to the ceremony for $3 million dollars.
