1. KENNEDY - Searchers have given up all hope of finding John F Kennedy Junior, his wife and her sister alive after their plane disappeared. They have still not found the wreckage of the plane that crashed and searchers say that even if they survived the crash, they would not have survived in the water. Personal belongings have been found. Meanwhile the Kennedy Family who had gathered for a family wedding have now gathered to mourn. An official investigation is underway into the crash, though there is little for them to go on. President Bill Clinton offered support and prayers and said how the Kennedy’s had been an inspiration to a nation and had suffered much, but given more. Now there is just one remaining member of President Kennedy’s family, Caroline. Who has in the past shunned almost all public events and has looked uncomfortable when she has.
2. SAMOA - Samaoa is also in shock after the murder of the popular Public Works Minister, the Government has imposed a news blackout. A Samoan journalist in Auckland believes the murder was the act of one of may workers layed off. NZ police are on their way to assist.
3. WINZ - The Head of Work and Income NZ now admits she approved the spending on chartered jets, but was misled over the full cost.
4. DOLPHINS - The fishing industry is to pay for a
high tech solution to Hectors dolphin deaths. They are to
but ultra-sonic warnings on nets to scare off the
dolphins.
