1. KENNEDY - A simple private farewell for a family that has lost so much. John F Kennedy Jnr’s ashes were buried at sea. While the service at sea was a private affair, there was a public memorial organised by the Irish Community in New York. Tomorrow there will be a private mass attended by the Clintons.

2. CRASH - One of the survivors of the Foveuax Strait air crash has confirmed he will be suing the airline after a critical coroner’s report.

3. ABUSE - Families of the victims of an airforce medic who sexually abused them have spoken out. The man has been jailed after he used fears about cancer to prey on boys and men.

4. SUPER - Superannuation is back on the political agenda after the release of a report by the Super 2000 taskforce. The report says the public want the politicians to work together, but doesn’t think they will. The Alliance, Labour and NZ First say they have no time for the taskforce as it is to political in nature.

5. CHCH HOSPITAL - The Ministry of Health has criticised Christchurch Hospital over the Endoscopy scare that meant more than a throusand people had to get blood tests. The Ministry says that the hospital did not follow proper procedure, staff were not trained properly and proper testing stopped after a staff member left.

6. RUGBY - Three weeks ago Dunedin blacked out for the All Blacks, now it is Auckland’s turn, but there are doubts whether Aucklanders will take part.
