Early childhood education research boosted
Research into best practice teaching methods for early childhood education is to be boosted by six new 'Centers of Innovation' for $2.1 million over three years. This is good news says Matt Robson, Progressive Deputy Leader.
"Early childhood education is a key part of
ensuring our children get the best start possible in life.
More research into best practice in teaching our young
children is certainly an important contribution to helping
both teachers and children get the best out of early
childhood education.
"This is one step in the right
direction to ensuring our investment in education is being
used to maximum advantage. The Progressives want universal
access to quality early childhood education. This move by
the Labour Progressive government is a welcome step in the
right direction," Matt Robson MP
said.
