New Hansard Service For Oral Answers In The House

Hansard will today start progressive posting of uncorrected versions of oral answers to questions presented to Ministers and members in the House of Representatives.

This new service will meet the needs of individuals and organisations seeking rapid access to oral answers during question time at the beginning of each sitting day.

The uncorrected transcript of each question and answer will be posted on the www.parliament.nz website as it becomes available. The transcripts will include supplementary questions and answers and will posted on the internet in the order they are completed by Hansard.

Each question is subject to amendment without notice till all the questions are posted by around 5.30pm.

Hansard is published by order of the House. A corrected daily Hansard is available in print to members of Parliament and the public three working days after a debate takes place.
