International Finance Agreements Amendment Bill

The deputy chairperson of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee is inviting submissions on this bill. The closing date for submissions is Monday, 5 October 2015.

The Bill amends the International Finance Agreements Act 1961 in order to enable the Government of New Zealand to become a member of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and to implement New Zealand’s obligations under the Articles of Agreement of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.

Submissions should be forwarded by the due date, either online using our website (www.parliament.nz) or in writing to the address below. If a submitter wishes to appear before the committee, they need to state this clearly and provide a name, daytime phone number and email address.
