PARTY VOTES FOR CHRISTIAN PARTIES WILL BE WASTED

United New Zealand leader, Hon Peter Dunne, says a party vote for either of the Christian parties is a wasted vote.

“Neither is going to win an electorate seat in Parliament, nor cross the 5% threshold for list seats.”

“All their party votes will therefore evaporate into thin air and be completely wasted,” he says.

Mr Dunne says on present polling that represents about 2-3% of potential wasted votes.

He says that people wanting to send a strong family values message to Parliament would be far better off giving their party vote to United New Zealand, because party votes for United will not be wasted.

“According to all the polls, we are going to win Ohariu Belmont, which means we will be represented in the next Parliament, and that every party vote for us will count.

“Potential supporters of the Christian parties therefore have a stark choice before them.”

“They can either vote for those parties and see their party vote disappear into thin air, or they can vote for United and see their party vote work effectively to help put at least 3 or 4 sensible and reliable MPs into Parliament.”

“Three or four sensible United MPs could be all the difference between stable government and New Zealand First holding things to ransom once more.”

“In reality, the answer is obvious,” Mr Dunne says.
