Libz Spokesman Claims Ownership Of His Own Body
Libertarianz Law and Order spokeman Bernard Darnton is disappointed to see that our government's nannying has gone international.
"Busybodies from four different countries, including New Zealand, were involved in the recent Fijian heroin bust," he notes. "This comes at the same time as Police Association president Greg O'Connor is asking for money from the health budget to tackle drugs as well."
"Why can't these people just mind their own business?" he asks.
Libertarianz would legalise all drug use by adults, recognising that all individuals are responsible for what they do to their own bodies.
"Greg O'Connor is right in saying that drug use is a health issue, and to make sure that people take responsibility for their actions Libertarianz would privatise the health system as well."
"In a free country," claims Darnton, "anyone would be allowed to take any substance of his choice. He would of course also bear the consequences of any health problems that may result."
