More Aid For Death Squad
Christian Heritage Party Leader Graham Capill asks, “Is there any end to this unnatural desire to eradicate children or is the only desire occupying the energies of those involved in this wholesale slaughter, to make abortions even more available and less complicated procedurally?”
The Christian Heritage Party deplores the fact that Dr. Margaret Sparrow and her cohorts are about to bring the abortion pill RU-486 on to the New Zealand market and has intimated that she will form a voluntary consortium to promote this.
“It is extraordinarily saddening”, Graham Capill continued, “to hear talk of more choice, cost and time-saving and such like when we already lose over 15,000 babies each year in this violent manner.
“At the same time as such arguments, we are told that New Zealand’s low birth rate is of major concern. The irony of this appears not to be noticed,” he said.
“Whether pregnancies are terminated medically or surgically makes no difference – either method is child eradication and has serious consequences both for those most immediately involved and for society as a whole but,” he said, “it is of huge concern that the general availability of an abortifacient such as RU-486, will inevitably lead to an even greater number of terminations.”
“It is
particularly repugnant to think that Dr Sparrow needs what
amounts to a death squad to promote such medication. We
hope that the Minister of Health will reject such pressure
from those who represent the death culture now prevalent in
New Zealand,” Mr Capill
concluded.
