~ 21 April - ‘See no evil’ - an extract from Jo Luping’s documentary about a year in her sister Di Luping’s life. Di, a New Zealander, works for LAW (the Palestinian NGO founded in 1990 by a group of Palestinian lawyers to promote human rights and further the principles of the rule of law, and to defend Palestinian rights in accordance with international human rights law and United Nations declarations). This extract follows Di to the UN Conference on Racism and Xenophobia (Durban, South Africa, 2002), features the Landless Peoples’ March, and will be screened on Asia Down Under, 8-30am, on TV1.
