Dunne Shafts Families

Dunne Shafts Families

"Peter Dunne's new 'Families Commission' is an absurd pointless and expensive waste of taxvictims' money," declared Libertarianz spokesmen Peter Cresswell today. "Every dollar spent on this new monument to futility is a dollar wrested from families already struggling to keep up. Dunne's family party is shafting every taxpayer in this country - and every family!"

"To hear politicians bemoaning 'the death of the family' is utterly sickening," says Osborne. "At the present rate of tax theft, one half of every working couple is going out to work just to pay their tax impositio!. If any politician really wants to 'help the family,' then rather than add a further burden to that couple, why not remove the burden altogether. If one half of every couple doesn't have to go to work just to pay their tax burden, that would do an awful lot of good for each family, and an awful lot of good for liberty. Unfortunately, pigs will fly before any of the present parliamentary swine are likely to release the shackles."

Cresswell concluded that "Libertarianz would abolish the Families Commission immediately, along with a vast array of similarly pointless bureaucracies. We would give families, and every tax victim, genuine relief by immediate abolition of GST and an immediate crucifixion of income tax. Families, and the rest of us, would be able to breath again."
