Activists dump dead rabbits at Procter & Gamble HQ
Activists dump dead rabbits, cruelly produced products and petition at Procter & Gamble HQ
Employee's of one of the world's worst animal testers will be challenged upon arriving at work from 7.30am this morning, by anti-animal testing activists from the national animal rights group SAFE. Employees of Procter & Gamble's New Zealand headquarters will be forced to wrestle through life-sized cruelly tested products and dead rabbits ‹ highlighting the cruelty involved in the manufacturing of Procter & Gamble products.
SAFE spokesperson Gary Reese said today:
This demonstration is part of an international campaign involving over one hundred protests worldwide against Procter & Gamble's cruel animal product safety testing. I am sure many of the employees at Procter & Gamble would be opposed to animal cruelty, yet work for one of the world's worst offenders of animal testing.
SAFE activists inside Procter & Gamble's 'own products' intend to form a blockade forcing staff to wrestle through their own 'cruel crap' while dead rabbits and 'bloodied' Procter & Gamble household and toiletry products, routinely found in supermarkets, are dumped on the doorsteps of Procter & Gamble's New Zealand headquarters.
Procter & Gamble manufacture the following products: Pert, Pantene, Max Factor, Oil of Olay, Cover Girl, Herbal Essence, Vidal Sassoon, Pampers, Tampax, Pringles, Old Spice, Whisper, Vicks, Iams and Eukanuba.
