For Better Or For Worse? Talk On The War On Drugs
The Institute for Liberal Values is helping sponsor two talks with Clifford Thornton, Jr.
Clifford is a leading African American opponent of the drug war and it's devastating effects on civil liberties, respect for the law, property rights, and the black community.
He is the founder of Efficacy, a non profit organisation concentrating its efforts on drug abuse and crime prevention. He taught a graduate level course "Illegal Drugs and Public Policy" at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut.
In addition the Institute's Executive Director, Jim Peron, will be making closing remarks at each of the presentations. One presentation will be held in Wellington and one in Auckland.
