Destiny NZ "Your Power is in the Home' Tour coming to Napier
Political party Destiny New Zealand is presenting an overview of its policies in Napier at a public meeting this Saturday. Destiny New Zealand leader Richard Lewis will outline some of the party's key policies moving toward the next election. Economics spokesperson David Jesze will also present policies.
"As a relatively new political party we have been working very hard at community level to inform the public about who we are and what we stand for," says Lewis.
One of the key messages the party will be presenting is its 'Family' policy.
"Having spent a large part of my career working at grassroots level in our communities, I have observed the drastic decline in standards and behavior among our young people and children. This deterioration correlates highly with the breakdown of families in our society. Sadly, the present government does not value families. The mission of Destiny New Zealand is to make families the top priority for the next government," he said.
Besides the party's strong family focus, it is also viewed as business and export friendly, promoting an environment of minimal red tape while celebrating business and export success.
"Destiny NZ supports wealth creation instead of socialistic wealth redistribution. Not everyone can be an All Black, but with the right education, skills and leadership, those who want to, can be world-class entrepreneurs and leaders in the business community," says Economics spokesperson, David Jesze.
Launched last July, Destiny New Zealand has built up a significant support base and plans to stand candidates in many electorates at the next election. The party has already held public meetings in many North Island centers and in the next month has meetings planned for Tauranga and Gisborne.
Destiny NZ will be holding a public meeting this Friday 21 May starting at 7.30pm at the Destiny Building, 82 Taradale Road, Onekawa NAPIER.
