There But By The Grace Of God, Go I

"Grey Power is ecstatic at the news that MP for Christchurch East - Lianne Dalziel - in her capacity as Labour's "buddy MP" for Nelson, has helped launch a petition to bring about a policy change to assist superannuitants who are living alone because their husband or wife are in care," says Grey Power Social Services spokesperson Violet McCowatt.

"We have for many years raised this issue of unfairness that arises when a husband or wife are in care leaving the other partner facing all the extra costs associated with living alone despite not being entitled to any Living Alone support. Grey Power feel this issue needs to be addressed and urge everybody to support the petition 100%," Mrs McCowatt stated.
