Queen Street March a Huge Success
Saturday’s Queen Street march promoting
‘Enough is Enough’ continues to generate huge interest
building towards the 23rd August mass gathering at the
grounds of Parliament.
Broadcast on all major media channels, the event involving over 2,000 Aucklanders and a 250-strong kapa haka team sent a clear message of strength and unity amongst people passionate about family values and the next generation. Churches and interests groups from around the country continue to register their support for the event.
“This was the tip of the iceberg in terms of support for Wellington’s 23rd August stand. We can’t let laws such as Prostitution and the Civil Union Bill be implemented in our land to the detriment of our children and the future generations. We’re coming to Wellington to say enough is enough”, said Pastor Stock, event coordinator.
A highlight of the Wellington stand will be a 300-man Kapa Haka at the steps of Parliament, which will be followed by a rousing rendition of the New Zealand National Anthem, prayer and then keynote speakers.
