Herod was intent on killing children in Bethlehem in order to get rid of Jesus who had been born there. Herod’s evil plan is still notorious to this day and yet Herod probably only killed 20 to 30 infants since the population of Bethlehem was only about 2000 at that time. Herod did not kill Bethlehem’s children year after year, but only on this one occasion.
New Statistics out recently show that New Zealand has a little less than 58,000 children born each year, but because the government-run abortiories kill almost 19, 000 innocent unborn infants on an ongoing annual basis, our politicians are responsible for the killing of twenty five percent of children conceived in New Zealand.
And to compensate for these murdered children, the Labour government brings in Muslim extremists and Baathists to take their place. In fact the Greens, who are great supporters of abortion on demand, will probably protest this weekend about all the poor ducks that are shot from maimais. And yet ironically there will probably be far fewer ducks killed on Saturday than the number of innocents slaughtered by Drs. trained now to kill their patients.
When will New Zealanders stand up for the unborn innocents? It is documented in many studies that women who have abortions carry emotional scars all their lives. So abhorrent is abortion ultimately to the mother who aborts her child, that studies have shown women pregnant through rape cope far better emotionally if they give birth to the child than if they abort. It is unnatural to kill babies.
It is only when women who abort come to Christ for forgiveness that their emotional scars are healed. But these things are unlikely to change while we are ruled by women and children: “As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths” Isa. 3:12-13.
