Pastor Brian Tamaki to be Ordained as Bishop

This Saturday Destiny Churches from around the country converge on Manukau's TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre for the ordination of its first Bishop - Pastor Brian Tamaki.

Special guests in attendance will include the Maori Queen Te Ariki Nui, Dame Te Atairangi Kaahu, Glyn Carpenter of Vision Network (Representative of Evangelical Churches of NZ) former All Black, Bull Allen, and many dignitaries from a wide diversity of New Zealand society.

The Destiny movement also celebrates its 7th birthday with two special services at the Events Centre on Sunday at 10am and 6.30pm.

"This is a significant milestone for the Destiny Churches made even more special with the ordination of New Zealand's newest Bishop. The Events Centre will be filled to capacity", says media liaison, Janine Cardno.

The Ordination begins at 11am on Saturday 18th June at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Manukau City.
