Super Air Accident Statement #3

November 23, 2005

Statement #3. Issued at 1.30 pm.

Super Air Accident

It is with deep regret that Super Air confirms that Peter Beatty and Greg Nash, its two employees on the Fletcher aerial top dressing aircraft missing since yesterday, have died in an accident.

The aircraft has been located, and we are informed that Peter and Greg are likely to have died on impact.

Peter was the pilot, and was a very experienced and skilled airman.

Greg’s role was to assist with the loading of fertiliser into the aircraft.

They were returning to Whangarei after completing an aerial top dressing assignment.

Super Air is continuing to offer every assistance possible to the family, relatives and close associates of Peter and Greg, and they remain the focus of our attention.

Peter and Greg were long serving employees, and their loss is being keenly felt by their colleagues at Super Air.

The accident will be the subject of an investigation by the relevant authorities and Super Air will co-operate fully with them.
