Making Every Child Count - Getting Together for All Children
The place of children in New Zealand’s future and priority issues such as child abuse and poverty, come under the spotlight at a one-day conference in Wellington on Wednesday, 26 July.
The conference, Making Every Child Count - Getting Together for All Children, will feature prominent keynote speakers, including Phil O’Reilly (Business New Zealand); Dr Cindy Kiro (Children’s Commissioner); Dr Simon Rowley (Brainwave Trust); and Dr Innes Asher (Child Poverty Action Group). Conference schedule attached.
Organised by He Mana to ia Tamaiti/ Every Child Counts, this event will provide an opportunity to take stock of the current status of New Zealand children and identify what is needed to ensure all children get a good start. It is expected that about 100 delegates from around the country will attend.
