Winston Peters to open Seniors' Day Out
The Rt Hon Winston Peters will formally open Seniors’ Day Out 2006 – The Lifestyle Expo at 10am this Friday 13 October at the North Shore Events Centre.
Seniors and Baby Boomers will be looking forward to Seniors’ Day Out 2006, where the latest Products, Services, Entertainment and lifestyle choices are on show.
The Expo is taking place at the North Shore Events Centre from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 October, with entrances from Silverfield Lane or Argus Place, Glenfield, Auckland.
The Show was held for the first time in November last year and was enjoyed by thousands who visited from all over Auckland, the Waikato and Bay of Plenty.
Last year many younger adults visited the show with Senior Parents who were unable to get to the show by their own means.
This year visitors under the age of 50 will be admitted to the show FREE of charge if accompanied by a paying Senior Adult. We expect Sons and Daughters will see this as an opportunity to treat their Senior Parents to great day out.
“Our goal is to provide seniors and baby boomers with useful information enabling them to make their own choices for bringing about the lifestyle they want during an exciting period of their lives” says Brian Peters and Peter Clark, organisers of Seniors’ Day Out.
This event is designed to encourage personal growth and enrichment for those over the age of 50.
Visitors will discover this event has a great deal to offer them, with interesting and informative displays representing all facets of today’s lifestyles.
Seniors’ Day Out 2006 brings together the latest Products and Services in Travel, Food, Fitness, Health Care, Leisure activities, Lifestyle choices, Gifts and Crafts, Retirement Planning and much more. Visitors will be able speak to the experts, get the latest information and purchase goods at show specials from more than 100 exhibitors.
All generations will enjoy the FREE entertainment on the main stage including musical tribute to Dean, Frank and Sammy “The Rat Pack”
All visitors an have a go at the many recreational activities to encourage healthy living like Fitness classes, Tai Chi, Yoga, Dancing, and Indoor Bowls.
