Free Day Out For Seniors
Free Day Out For Seniors
New Zealand seniors are set to benefit from attending one of four free Seniors Lifestyle Expos to be held on the North Island next month.
The free expos will be held in Auckland, Tauranga and Hamilton, providing retirees and baby boomers with advice on a wide range of topics affecting them.
Hosted by seniors’ specialists, New Zealand Seniors Card the events will bring together businesses, community groups and agencies to help over-55’s plan for their future.
Chris Herron, Director of Seniors Card, said the 2007 Seniors Lifestyle Expos will offer free and essential advice on travel, finances, health, accommodation options, support services and lifestyle alternatives.
“The expos are free for everyone to attend – to seniors themselves, their friends and families and their carers. Seniors social and sporting groups are more than welcome to attend and can be accommodated with ease.
“Our aim is to arm seniors and pre-retirees with all of the information they need to enjoy an active and fulfilling future.”
The expos will feature a free concert at 1pm, competitions, seminars, entertainment, lucky door prizes, and free tea and coffee.
Mr Herron says it’s not too late for exhibitors to become involved with the event.
“For organisations wanting a willing and enthusiastic audience there will be no better place to be. Over 35 000 Seniors Card members are already aware of the Seniors Lifestyle Expos. We don’t need to remind anyone that seniors are a major force in the marketplace,” Mr Herron says.
The Seniors Lifestyle Expos will be held from 9.30am – 2.30pm and entry is free to all.
