Good coffee for a good cause

Good coffee for a good cause - that’s a fair trade

Buy your coffee from Esquires this Fairtrade Fortnight and not only will you enjoy drinking ethically traded coffee - you’ll be supporting a great cause.

From 3-18 May, Esquires will donate 10 cents from every coffee sold towards ChildFund New Zealand’s Project Graca and families in Suai, East Timor. Esquires purchases the majority of its Fairtrade coffee directly from East Timor - one of the poorest countries in the world, where 41% of the population lives below the poverty line.

ChildFund New Zealand’s Project Graca is working to reduce poverty and improve the lives of East Timorese children in Suai. The project has a strong New Zealand connection with 916 ChildFund New Zealand supporters committing $44 per month to sponsor an East Timorese child through Project Graca.

ChildFund New Zealand National Director, Paul Brown, says “When you’re looking for a caffeine fix this Fairtrade Fortnight, use your spending power to contribute to long term sustainable change in East Timor by choosing Esquires.”

Whether it’s a creamy Flat White, a classic Cappuccino or a traditional Long Black, Esquires coffee will taste even better when you know it’s all for a good cause.
