Grey Power Federation, on behalf of its membership is pleased to congratulate the newly appointed Minister of Health, Hon David Cunliffe announcing that screening for bowel cancer will be available as soon as practicable. This disease is responsible for the deaths of many in New Zealand every year and early screening will certainly save lives that would otherwise be under threat.
Hon David Cunliffe is gaining the reputation of a go-getter with his quick brokering of the pay dispute for senior doctors and now his latest announcement which we believe will find favour with all New Zealanders.
