Family Party announces Chinese Candidate

The Family Party is excited to announce Angela Xu as its Chinese spokeswoman and candidate for Northcote.

Born in Beijing, China, Angela is the eldest daughter of parents whom worked as doctors in the Chinese Army. Educated in Beijing, her career background involves being in public relations as spokeswoman for The Great Wall Foundation, deputy general manager for a subsidiary of the Ministry of Science and department project manager for Chinese Consultant in Scandinavia.

In the early 1990’s she moved to New Zealand where she studied Apparel Fashion Design.

Over the last few years Angela has ventured into business utilizing her business skills and Chinese contacts. She has been working with China manufacturing and export companies and has launched her own business initiatives in New Zealand.

Holding a strong conviction for traditional family values that bond Asian families together, Angela is a firm believer that future generations will benefit from stable, healthy and prosperous families. It is with this conviction that Angela stands for the Family Party and is reaching out to various local and ethnic communities to stand up for the same cause.

Angela is married and has two children.

She will be formally announced at the Family Party pre-election Conference at 10am Saturday 27th September 10am – 2pm, at the Metro Theatre 351 Massey Road, Mangere. All are welcome.
