Press Release On Bomb Attacks In Jakarta, 17 July 2009

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Wellington wishes to express its heartfelt sympathy and deepest condolences to the all the victims of the bombings that took place today in Jakarta on 17th of July 2009.

With deep regret and sorrow, we note that Timothy David Mackay from New Zealand were amongst the victims.

Our prayers are to the victims and their families, and for the well-being of those suffering.

On behalf of the Government of Indonesia, the Embassy strongly condemns these terrorist attacks, which are cruel and inhumane. The Embassy will inform the public for any further development.
