Where To Next For Harawira?

Where To Next For Harawira?

WILLIE JACKSON’S NEWSBITES returns to Maori Television this Friday with a potent mix of interviews, opinion and satire. This week veteran political broadcaster Jackson has maverick MP Hone Harawira in the studio for his first major interview since he left the Māori Party last Wednesday.

Where does Hone politically fit in? What are his intentions? What are his views on the Māori Party? Find out this Friday night when Willie and Hone korero at length.

Every Friday at 10PM the straight-talking broadcaster takes on the newsmakers and gets to the heart of the issues that concern Maori and all New Zealanders. Each episode features a major interview with someone at the centre of current events, plus “The Brown Table”, a lively forum for expert and entertaining commentators to read the spin and analyse the state we’re in.

As well as interviews and views, WILLIE JACKSON’S NEWSBITES also takes a satirical squint at life in Aotearoa in Toi Iti’s popular and cutting edge “Half-Caste Broadcast”. Each week Iti tries to make sense of being a bi-cultural New Zealander straddling the cultural divide.

WILLIE JACKSON’S NEWSBITES new season premieres Friday 4 March at 10PM on Maori Television. The series runs from 4 March through til 27 May.
