On Q+A this Sunday, the Banks-Dotcom affair has ACT leader John Banks on the ropes and is prompting more questions than answers. So we look back over how the story has unfolded this week, we talk to Labour MP Trevor Mallard about where to from here and analyse the fallout on our panel.

Plus, two headline interviews. Shane Taurima speaks to Maori Party Co-leader Tariana Turia about her crusade to make New Zealand smokefree. Having announced plans for plain-packaging she’s now won further tax increases in the Budget. How far is she prepared to go? And will she make a similar stand on alcohol and gambling?

Then, more than half a million New Zealanders will have to pay off their student loans faster than expected and student allowances will be capped at four years. We’ll ask Tertiary Minister Steven Joyce if he’s given up on a knowledge economy.
